Coir Mulch 60L
Coco Chip can be used to mulch around all plants, including rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias and other ericaceous, acid-loving plants. Spread around new plants to get them off to the perfect start.
Coco Chip has been shown to reduce weed growth up to 90%, decreasing plant competition improves plant growth. Helps retain moisture from the top of the soil. Also, helps protect plants from slugs and snails as well as roots from frost. A fantastic alternative to chipped bark by providing an attractive finish to beds, borders and containers, while reducing evaporation and water loss.

How To Use

Simply put your compressed Coco Coir – Coco Chip brick in a container, add warm water (cold is fine, but requires additional wait time) according to the below quantities and wait times.
Let it sit until the water is absorbed- a good time for tea! Fluff it up and you’re ready to start planting some magic.
Coir compost pack sizes:
- 20L water for 75L Coir compost (wait ~20 mins)
- 20L water for 54L Coir compost (wait ~15 mins)
- 13-14L water for 15L Coir compost (wait ~10 mins)
- 2-3L water for 9L Coir compost (wait ~8 mins)
Tips to speed up expansion:
- Slowly pour the water directly onto the centre of the block so water is absorbed from the centre outwards.
- Ensure the block is fully submerged in the water, rather than sat on top.
