Rhizopon Chryzotop

Rhizopon Chryzotop is a powerful rooting hormone that is for use with cuttings to give them the best strike rate. It is the preferred cloning product for hobbyist and professional growers all over Europe.

Many like it because it lasts longer than other types of rooting products as it continually supplies hormones to cuttings, helping the plant establish quicker. Rhizopon Chryzotop encourages the cutting to form roots in a uniform way around the stem, for a more regular and stable plant.

To use Rhizopon in the most effective way, use a silicon spray or additive on the mother plant a week before you take the cuttings. This will ensure the plants are strong and sturdy with healthier cells, which helps the plant deal with the coming stress.

After you take the cutting, dip the cut end in to water, shake off the excess and then dip it into Rhizopon, to about 2cm deep. Quickly place the cutting into a rooting cube or potting mix, being sure not to wipe the hormone off as it goes in. Put the cuttings into a warm propagator and keep humidity levels as close to 100% as you can while they root.
